I try to approach the reality of each farming organisation with humility and respect, and to empathise with the visions and realities of each farmer. Before the first visit I ask for the key data of the farm, farm structures and local conditions. Targets are agreed in a consulting plan including financial agreements. Consulting reports or conversion plans are prepared. I offer consulting on the farm, by phone, mail and video conferences.
Farm conversion projects in Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Austria. Currently I work on a cooperation project between a demeter and organic farm in GER and CZ. Advisory with focus on arable farming, animal husbandry, farm development, biodynamic preparations and demeter certification. Agro-forestry is a new project. In Germany i am involved in national variety trials with grain crops (cereals, legume crops) in cooperation with biodynamic breeders and agriculture authorities.
Over 25 years of experience in advisory services for demeter and organic farms in european countries with focus on germany. I provide consulting in soil fertility, technical arable farming questions, biodynamic preparations and composting as well as individual coaching and farm managment. In Germany I organize field-schools and seminars for farmer groups and advisors. As graduated agricultural engineer I worked 6 years on the biodynamic experimental farm of University of Hohenheim.
